Job Title: Inspector
Job DescriptionThe Inspector will evaluate and manage in-service landing gear and hydraulic components for wear and corrosion. The role involves visual and dimensional inspection using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, gauges, and indicators. You will ensure all articles are maintained according to the customers continuous airworthiness program and work collaboratively with machinists, operators, technicians, and department leads to solve technical issues. Additionally, you are responsible for documenting all maintenance in accordance with internal, customer, OEM, and FAA requirements, including the maintenance performed on work orders, travelers, bill of materials, picture sheets, and logs. You will also implement customer and OEM technical data into repair schemes.
Responsibilities

- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
- Ensure articles are maintained in accordance with the customers continuous airworthiness program.
- Collaborate with machinists, operators, technicians, and department leads to solve technical issues.
- Document all maintenance in accordance with internal, customer, OEM, and FAA requirements.
- Implement customer and OEM technical data into repair schemes.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and equipment like micrometers, bore gauges, and test indicators.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome, nickel, cadmium, and various thermal sprayed surfaces.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- The ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Previous employment experience in the relevant services, including practical experience with procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in maintenance activities.

Work Environment
The work environment is focused on repair activities, with a shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role requires adherence to precise maintenance documentation standards and working in a structured repair facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VALENCIA, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
