Qualifications
Qualification Requirements for FV-F (FG/GS 5-9)
To qualify for this position at the FV-F (FG/GS-5-9) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least three years of progressively responsible general experience that demonstrates the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, recognize solutions, plan and organize work and convey information, with at least one year equivalent to the FV-E (FG/GS-4) level. Such experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work. Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical, or other responsible work may be qualifying as long as it provided evidence of the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) necessary to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

Education Substitution: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/standards/group-stds/Gs-admin.asp for more information. To qualify based on education you must submit a copy of your high school or college transcripts or certificates.

Education
Education Substitution for FV-F: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university.
Combination of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
To qualify based on education, applicants MUST submit a copy of your college or university transcripts at time of application. Failure to do so will result in loss of consideration. Foreign education must be evaluated by a private professional organization specializing in interpretation of foreign education credentials or an accredited U.S. Educational Institution in terms of equivalency to a degree acquired at an American college or university. A copy of the evaluation results must be included in your application package. If you do not include a copy of the evaluation as part of your application package, your foreign education will not be considered.
